Azzurra - Direct access to the beach

Azzurra is a stylish house, with expansive sea views that can effortlessly accommodate two families or three generations. With its five bedrooms (including two with ensuites), four bathrooms, and multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces, Azzurra can accommodate up to 10 guests. The bay views are stunning and there is a stair case to the beach at the property and it’s only a 15 minute walk into Nelson Bay via the paved waterfront pathway from Dutchie's Beach into Nelson Bay’s town centre and marina. The kids can ride their scooters and bikes while you stroll along gazing at those amazing harbour views. Idyllic Dutchies Beach is perfect for little ones and families. It has calm harbour water, rock pools, golden sands, gas BBQs, picnic tables, beautiful parkland reserve, bathrooms and children’s play equipment. All this is conveniently and quickly accessed via a stairway adjacent to the home.

Azzurra top level features ducted air conditioning and an expansive split level, open plan lounge, dining and kitchen living area with a mesmerising water vista, which flows out to a huge undercover entertaining deck with BBQ, outdoor lounge furniture and alfresco dining setting. Also on this level is a family bathroom and three bedrooms. The master bedroom is blessed with water views, an ensuite and sliding door onto the deck.

The lower level encompasses two bedrooms each with their own air-con., including one with ensuite and lovely water views, a family bathroom with laundry, a rumpus room, lounge room looking out over the trees and ocean, and a large undercover deck. The rumpus room would be the ideal place for the kids to hang out. There’s a split system air con, TV with Netflix subscription, lounges, desk, games and even a foosball table for a bit of family fun. The children can also spill out and play on the grassy reserve that borders the property.

Azzurra has a washer/dryer combo plus an additional dryer, a double garage and free WiFi. Upon arrival you’ll discover the beds all made and towels provided for your bathrooms. There is a double garage that you access the home on a level path to the kitchen level. Or you can park in front of the garage and walk down the stairs.

BOND - a refundable bond of $2000 that is payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality linen. Quilts, blankets and pillows are also supplied. Bath and beach towels are provided.

PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

PLEASE NOTE: PARTIES, FUNCTIONS, WEDDINGS (WEDDING RELATED), GRADUATES and or SCHOOLIES/TEENAGER bookings are not accepted.

  All appliances and furnishings were top shelf.

  Azzurra was the perfect accommodation for us with six adults and there were still wonderfully appointed bedrooms to spare! The living spaces were large with plenty of choice to escape if anyone needed a bit of private time. The property was spotless, and the furniture, accessories and appliances were good quality. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need including large serving platters which we found very useful. There were multiple options for dining, with a large kitchen island, a large dining table and outside tables on both decks.
  The outside decking spaces were large, the lower one was enormous. Both took advantage of the beautiful water view. We felt we were among the tree tops often visited by kookaburras and other beautiful birds. The direct beach access was a bonus.
  The property is a short drive from shops and cafes. All in all a perfect spot for a holiday for up to 10 people. I would recommend this property to friends and family.

  We loved the house , its layout and location. We were fortunate to have great weather and the views from both decks are fabulous. Great open plan living with undercover decks where you can enjoy a BBQ and admire the sweeping views.
  There is plenty to explore at Nelson Bay with playground equipment for kids and lovely coastal walks and easy beach access. Cafe's and restaurants are only a few minutes away by car. There is easy access to Duchy's beach below the property.The only concerns were the TV's and only 6 standard size wine glasses. I think for a 5 bedroom house you need more standard size wine glasses. After 2 days one TV broke down and there was a problem with the remote on the other TV and picture was not great. These are not big issues and I'm sure can be rectified by the owner. A great place to stay and would recommend it to families.

  My group of 9 had a wonderful 3 night stay at this "little piece of paradise" home.
  It's location was perfect, just a 15 minute stroll into Nelson Bay.
  It was very clean and tidy, well appointed and well laid out ... lots of bathrooms which is an added bonus.
  The view is phenomenal and we enjoyed sitting out on the verandah relaxing with a nice glass of wine.
  All the little extra touches did not go unnoticed and were appreciated.
  We definitely recommend this property and recommend booking through 'Stay Port Stephens', nothing was a problem.
