High View Holiday House

High View Holiday House is a recently renovated, upper duplex, occupying the top two levels. Its elevated hilltop position affords it spectacular panoramic water views from the multiple living areas and each of the bedrooms. High View’s three bedrooms and two sofa beds can accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children. The outdoor area is equally impressive, *accessed by stairs separate from the main house* is a beautifully landscaped garden and heated pool for entertaining guests. A serene retreat for relaxation and recreation.

With two viewing balconies to take in the harbour and hinterland vista and a sunroom complete with ping pong table to entertain the kids or bring everyone together for a friendly game. Located in Salamander Bay, High View is a one minute drive to the local shops and is a 10 minute drive to Nelson Bay marina and town centre. Several beautiful beaches are within a few minutes drive or short stroll, and the famous Rick Stein restaurant is also a couple of minutes drive away.

The top floor includes a super stylish open plan living area, master bedroom and a generous bathroom with separate powder room. The fully equipped chef's kitchen, spacious dining area and lounge room with large screen TV, are all blessed with mesmerising glistening water views. A balcony with BBQ and outdoor lounge is the perfect spot to unwind as you take in the panoramic views. The sublime master bedroom has a king sized bed and looks out to treetop water views. The bathroom incorporates a laundry and the separate powder room offers convenience for guests.

The entry level of High View is home to two elegant bedrooms, a large sumptuous living area, deck and games sunroom all have gorgeous water views, plus a family bathroom. The sun-drenched lounge room has a large screen TV, sofa bed suitable for two children, and opens onto a deck with comfy seating. The sunroom’s ping pong table is sure to provide hours of fun and entertainment for all ages. One dreamy bedroom has a king bed and the other has two single beds. The exquisite bathroom includes a freestanding bath.

High View has a double lock up garage, a combo washer/dryer, air-conditioning and free WiFi.

High View is newly renovated and has all new luxurious furnishings and decor, which are in perfect harmony with the seaside location and create a feeling of relaxed sophistication.

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality linen. Doonas, blankets and pillows for 6 guests.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 6 ADULTS. There are two sofa beds to sleep up to 4 children for additional cost.

BOND - a refundable bond of $1000 that is payable 14 days prior to arrival and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.

Bed Option - 2 King, 2 King Singles

Additional costs when booking:
Two Sofa Bed (children only) $100 each per booking with towels and linen provided.
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.
Beach/pool towels are $8 per towel hire/ per booking.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered

  What a delightful home! I had my mother, sister and our 2 kids (each) with me on this stay and I was very impressed. The home was impeccably clean (thank you) and ready for us to begin enjoying the minute we stepped in. I read in previous reviews that some people felt the layout was a little disjointed, but it suited us perfectly! The kids had their own space, leaving us adults alone for some quality mum/daughter time. Despite the heavy rainfalls from previous days and some minor electrical issues at first —-which is absolutely expected—-we had no other problems occur. The rooms were great, bed comfy and bathrooms excellent. Overall, we enjoyed our time away immensely. Just a small caution, the location of the home while FANTASTIC (those views were amazing) meant that to access the pool, you are required to go down some steps. Those with smaller children (mine are 9) may need some care. I have stayed in many beautiful homes across NSW, Holiday View was amongst the best. Ill be back!

  Is accessed by external stairs (as advertised) which was not a problem for the younger generation family members but a little harder for the grand parents.
