Fingal Bay Beach House - Water Views and Seconds From the Beach

Fingal Bay Beach House is located only 50m from family favourite Fingal Bay Beach and the boat ramp. With tempting views of the beach from the front veranda, its super versatile floor plan makes it ideal for large families, intragenerational families or two families to share for a good old fashioned beach holiday. The home is also only 10 mins drive to Nelson Bay.

Fingal Bay Beach House is located at the southern end of the beach, affectionately referred to as Kiddie’s Corner. This protected stretch of the beach is perfect for children as it’s sheltered from big waves and typically has the type of small rolling waves that kids can spend hours enjoying. Waves just right for learning to surf or bodyboard, standup paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkelling. The beach is often patrolled by Surf Life Savers who set up flags indicating the best place to swim. There’s an amenities block, and BBQs and picnic tables are scattered along the grassy reserve adjacent to the beach. Bring the kids’ bikes and scooters or simply wander north along the pathway, that runs parallel with the beach, in only a few hundred meters you’ll discover a wonderful children’s playground and the Surf Life Saving Club’s cafe and restaurant. At low tide you can venture over the Fingal Spit and spend time exploring Fingal Island and see the light house.

Fingal Bay Beach House consists of two separate cottages, which are only meters apart and have an undercover deck between them.
Right Side Cottage - Sleeps 2, it consists of one bedroom with a queen bed, an open plan dining room, lounge room and fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a lovely sunny, north facing, wrap around veranda. There’s air con and a ceiling fan in the lounge room and a ceiling fan in the bedroom.

Left Side Cottage - Sleeps 6, it consists of two bedrooms with ceiling fans. There’s also a bathroom, laundry with washer and dryer, and lounge room, with a sofa bed (suitable for two children upon application), air con plus a ceiling fan and sliding doors which open onto a large undercover entertaining deck, complete with outdoor dining setting. Here, behind a roller door, the outdoor kitchen houses a sink, fridge and built-in BBQ. This is the perfect spot for everyone to congregate, relax and cook up holiday feasts, while the kids play on the grass. There’s also a double carport, off street parking for two and street parking.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 6 Adults 2 Children. Sofa bed will be added for guests 7&8

Dog Friendly - maximum 2 small/medium dogs. $100 per dog (request/approval required).

$1000 Refundable BOND - payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

  Loved Fingal Bay, property was well positioned just back from the beach & well priced. Loved the separate dwellings that allowed us some time away from the kids :-) The only negative was that the fry pans probably are past their use by date and need replacing (think I recall seeing that in another guest's comments before our stay).   This is our 2nd time at Fingal bay beach house over the New Year period and it was amazing with both our elderly mothers who occupied the studio and my husband and I occupied the main house, we spent majority of our mornings and afternoons either out in the breezeway or on the front deck watching the beautiful waves roll in. This has to be one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in at Port Stephens for functionality and position, close to the water for that amazing beach walk, places to eat, grab a cold afternoon beverage or just a quick drive into shoal bay for some of the most beautiful Greek food at Atmos with a sneaky gelato at the jetty gelato.
  Highly recommend booking this place won’t disappoint.
  
  I have given a 3 star for cleanliness due to our arrival of having to clean under the dinning table/lounge with food still visible and clean the toilet from previous tenants that had been missed by cleaners but it was the only downfall of our holiday.

  We absolutely loved the Fingal Bay Beach House. The location, the size, the outdoor kitchen. All of it was so perfect for our holiday.
  Both houses could use a big Spring Clean, but it was fine when we were there & I would still rate cleanliness a 4 out of 5.
  Beds were so comfortable, great shower pressure, loved the outdoor kitchen with the bbq.
  The doors opening to the verandah were my favourite. Can't wait to stay there again.

  would def recommend this property! the two seperate cottages are fantastic if u want to seperate the sleeping arrangements with family or friends. the proximity to the beach is also excellent! fingal beach is such a great beach for little kids we had a ball and the weather was unfortunately terrible but we still made the most of it. will def book again! the only thing that needed replacing is the second cottage shower head, and the outdoor kitchen needed airing it smelt of bbq grease - but neither of these really bothered us.

  We loved the location, so close to the beach. It was a great layout too, as it meant we could stay with my parents but still all get some privacy.
  
  I was surprised that the house didn't come with any welcome pack, or a short manual on how things worked. But it wasn't essential.
  
  We had a few small issues, such as the sink blocking, TV channels not working and 3 light bulbs in the main bedroom not working, but the property management company fixed all of the items we mentioned straight away.
  
  The outdoor kitchen was also great, but it would have been nice if it had included a few extra items, especially a rubbish bin.
