Memories on the Beachfront

Memories on the Beachfront is only a few minutes drive from Nelson Bay CBD and is located in one of the best beachfront positions in the whole of Port Stephens! This massive six bedroom home has multiple living areas, two kitchens, and is perfect for two families, multi-generational families or large groups to share. Memories on the Beachfront sleeps up to 12 guests (max 10 adults), lovely water views and is only meters away from the white sands of a gorgeous calm water beach. Surrounded by nature, Memories on the Beachfront is beyond compare.

Memories on the Beachfront encompasses everything we all dream of when fantasising about our dream beach house holiday. The park-like gardens and reserve offer the perfect space for kids to run and play. There’s a delightful little paved pathway, that winds its way through the beach reserve and has kids play equipment at each end. Stroll a few steps and you’re at The Anchorage Port Stephens, renowned for its opulent day spa, fine and casual waterfront dining. Go for an evening walk along the break-wall that wraps itself around The Anchorage Marina and watch the sun set.

The ground floor is comprised of a family bathroom, an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room, which all look out onto the grounds and the glistening water beyond and flow out onto the undercover patio complete with BBQ and outdoor dining table. There are four bedrooms on this level. Bedroom 1 enjoys the reserve and water views, opens onto the patio and has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a king sized zip bed(nominate preference) and TV. Bedroom 3 also has a king sized bed. Bedroom 4 can act as a kids bedroom, as it has a TV, two seater lounge and a set of bunk beds.

The first floor is comprised of yet another fully equipped kitchen, which is open plan to the generous dining room and both are blessed with water views and open onto a huge undercover deck with comfy outdoor furniture and dining setting. The separate spacious lounge room opens onto its own deck. There are two bedrooms on this level. Bedroom 5 (the master) has a TV, enchanting water views, direct access to the balcony, a king bed and ensuite with double vanity, shower and corner spa bath. Bedroom 6 also has a king sized bed. The family bathroom on this level has a bath and separate shower.

Memories on the Beachfront has a double lockup garage. The home is fully air conditioned, has a laundry with washer and dryer. Stay, play, rest and rejuvenate and experience Memories on the Beachfront for yourself!

This property has external security camera's in place, this is only for security purposes.

BOND - A $2000 refundable security deposit due 14 days prior to your arrival.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 10 adults. The bunks that can be used for 2 children, total maximum guest 12.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION OPTIONS:
OPTION 1 - 3 Kings, 1 Queen 2 long singles and a bunk
OPTION 2 - 4 Kings, 1 Queen and a bunk

Additional costs when booking;
Sofa bed $100 per booking which includes towels and linen hire.
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.

CANCELLATIONS - Booking Fee is not refundable ($100 to $140). Please refer to terms and conditions for full cancellation policy.

PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

We had however to rent another property nearby because I wanted my 27 year old grandaughter to come to my big dinner at The Anchoridge but her tiny dog was not permitted in the mainhouse.   We originally booked this home for a pre Christmas family get together for 8 adults and 3 small children. Unfortunately an accident intervened and we were generously offered the opportunity to move the stay which we did to late March.The accident occurred within the non cancellation window.
  The home would have comfortably accommodated eleven people(we only had eight on this visit).
  Location is fantastic for both adults and kids with no roads between the house and water. Also only a short walk to a playground or the restaurant bar and coffee shop at the Anchorage.
  It is a quiet at night except for some wildlife.
  Dolphins were visible from the verandah every day we were there.

  For a multi generational family holiday the house was perfect. We had an extendable gate for the top of the stairs which helped contain toddlers. Location was perfect, beach was great, loved you could watch dolphins swim by, kids used the footpath for scooters and trikes. The kayaks and lifejackets were a nice surprise.   A great house in a fantastic part of the world. Roughly a 50m walk to the beach in what would be very popular during summer, but very peaceful during winter. The house is beautifully appointed and caters to large families. Our only problem was with the functionality of the downstairs outdoor lights (either the switches did not work, or we could not find the correct switch plate.)

  This is a memorable stay with a group of friends wanting to just chill by the beach and play board games. The house is big with plenty of room for 9 adults. Kitchen is well equipped with dinnerware, cutleries and basic amenities and we could cook breakfast and use the BBQ with no problem. Some kitchen appliances including the kitchen exhaust and microwave can be slightly tricky to find the right button but having those options were good. Owner provided some coffee pods and a nespresso machine with milk frother which was good. Bed and linen were good and central air conditioning was a plus. There was also a bottle of wine given when check-in, which was a nice touch. However, there are some basic amenities that could be better - no shampoo or bath gel were provided in the bathroom apart from bar soap and no hair dryer which were not clearly indicated in the description. There was a mention of cleaning 'starter kit' which indicated bin liners, but wish they would have provided more, considering it's a place for a large group as both bins quickly filled up by day 1 after the BBQ. Key lock instructions weren't given on time but the call line was helpful and responded quickly. Would also prefer the instructions such as pre-departure checklist be printed or having a handbook for FAQ to be in a visible place of the property, instead of just email which I didn't check until after check out as holiday makers don't tend to check emails!

  Perfect home for a large family like ours!! We were 5 adults and 4 children. Unfortunately, we could only travel to Australia in your winter/our summer. There was no heat to the lower level for the first 3 nights, and it was very cold. The issue was resolved finally on the 4th night by bringing in heaters for the lower level...only complaint, but it was significant for those of us staying on the lower level:(

  A few friends and i loved our stay at Memories on the beachfront, Corlette.
  The location was great, the house is beautiful.
  We all commented on how comfortable the beds and pillows were. Very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with platters, cooking utensils and cookware.
  Local amenities are all only 5min drive away. If you're into fitness there's a great running track that takes you almost all the way to Shoal Bay,14k round trip. Highly recommended.

  My family and I stayed here over the Christmas break. There were 10 adults and 2 children. An absolutely amazing house, lots of space, airy and natural light. Location is superb for families and walking distance to the beach (barefoot!). It's very lively with close neighbours and people walking along the path however you still have your privacy. Very clean and decorated tastefully. I would suggest larger pots as the house accommodates 12 people and pots that are induction cooking friendly.
