Beachside Haven - Your Perfect Oasis Home

Beachside Haven is an immaculate, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home featuring water views, impressive entertainers’ kitchen, media room, 2nd lounge with sofa bed, light filled living and alfresco entertaining spaces. Keep the whole family entertained in the games room, complete with pool table, TV, dart board and ping pong table!

The centrally located kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including oven & dishwasher, gas cooktop, steam oven. The alfresco open plan layout seamlessly flows from the kitchen through to the dining, lounge and large under cover balcony with outdoor setting and chairs.

On entry level you will enjoy the extra space of a self-contained guest accommodation, including a kitchenette, dining setting, lounge with TV, DVD player and bathroom. The bedroom on the entry level has two single beds that can be zipped together to make a king plus a Bunk (2 singles).

The Master retreat has a king bed, TV, water views, ensuite and a very spacious walk-in-robe. The remaining two bedrooms on this level have queen beds.

The double lock up garage offers a ping pong table, dart board and two mountain bikes for you to ride the trails parallel to the beach. The beachside trail links up with kids play equipment, fitness stations and into the Nelson Bay Marina.

From Beachside Haven you can take a short stroll to The Anchorage Resort, a first class marina and bar for a beautiful dining experience. They also hire bikes and kayaks. Or bring your own bikes as there is a wonderful shared cycle path to Nelson Bay and beyond. Paddle boarding takes place at Dutchies beach. A must while you are on holiday, is to take the beautiful walk to Dutchies beach and onto Nelson Bay Marina.

4-LEGGED FAMILY MEMBERS WELCOME
Beachside Haven is dog friendly so you can bring your best friend on holiday too. Two small - medium dogs are permitted upon application. For council approved off-lead fun visit Bagnalls Beach directly opposite the street. Please note - no dogs allowed in the carpeted bedrooms, on the beds or furniture. Dogs are not to be left locked on the Balcony when you go out to explore.

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality white linen. Doonas (with decorative covers), blankets and pillows are also supplied.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 10 adults. There is a sofa bed that will be added to accommodate two children 11 & 12 ($100), total maximum guest 12.

Additional costs when booking:
Sofa bed (children only) $100 per booking which includes towels and linen hire.
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.
Beach/pool towels are $8 per towel hire/ per booking.

CANCELLATIONS - Booking Fee is not refundable ($100 to $140). Please refer to terms and conditions for full cancellation policy. Airbnb Guests please refer to Airbnb's policies.

PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

  This is a perfect holiday destination for 1 or 2 families accommodating 10 people comfortably. There is a sofa bed which in the games room/office, & according to the property details, sleeps two small children only. But it's very open to the living/kitchen area which is totally unsuitable for getting small children to sleep.
  The house is very well equipped with good appliances, plenty of crockery, cutlery & glasses. Bedding was comfortable with plenty of linen supplied.
  The location right across the road from Bagnalls Beach was so convenient for the kids to have a swim or for walking the dog. Our dog, a greyhound, had trouble negotiating the polished stairs in the house, so we had to walk him around the side of the house to the back door during the day after a walk, & out that way again to get him down to his bed in the downstais studio.There were concrete stairs to climb, but they weren't slippery like the indoor stairs. Just something to consider if you are taking your doggo on a holiday.
  We had a really comfortable holiday in this property.

  I organised this home away from home for myself and some friends to come and stay at while we visited Nelson Bay, and we were exceptionally pleased with the quality of the home and activities left. Darts and the pool table provided left us with hours of entertainment, at times feeling like we didn't even need to leave.
  
  After our stay, the neighbours next door took their time to thanked us, leaving us with a welcoming feeling if we ever wanted to come back and stay again. Highly recommend, and made my group of friends and my own weekend incredible.

Its pet friendly, and just a 2 minute walk to a dog friendly beach. 5 minute stroll to a great Thai restaurant and local shops, and a 5 minute drive to Salamander Bay shopping centre or into Nelson Bay. Water views from the balcony, living areas and the master bedroom. The house is very well set out and maintained, and very clean throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and the furnishings are all first class with clean leather lounge both upstairs and downstairs. Everyone I dealt with "Stay Port Stephens" was professional and very helpful from my first enquiry through to our last day of the stay. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend Beachside Haven.

  The house had a great location, spacious rooms and everything you might need although it did not have a hair dryer. Beautiful view and great balcony to enjoy it. The one issue with the house was its extreme dustiness. You could tell it had been a while since someone had stayed there and it had been a while since someone had actually cleaned and dusted the place. We spent a good day vacuuming, opening windows and getting air circulation flowing. Quite a few spider webs were found behind curtains and in high corners of rooms.

  This was welcome change having not been on vacation with these friends since Nov.2019.
  Even though it rained for 5 days of our week at the property we filled in the time by using the facilities provided. They had a great games room and plenty of space for the eight of us to sit and just chat in different places in the house. The view was lovely when the sun eventially came out.

  We truly enjoyed our stay at Beachside Haven, the house is very large with lots of different spaces to share or retreat to. The rooms are all generously fitted out and the beds are very comfortable. The 4th bedroom is in the lower floor and can be configured as either 2 single beds and a bunk set or a queen and bunk. this room has only one window which faces into the garage/rec room, so is quite dark.

  An awesome beach holiday with friends, loved our stay. Loved the backyard and the outdoor space...only suggestion would be to have aircon in the bedroom downstairs..where the kids slept. It was pretty stuffy and the ceiling fan on a low ceiling is not safe especially for a room with kids.

  The home is huge! There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms and three living areas but it feels very spacious. The rule for family holidays that the most important thing is time away from each other can be followed here. There was space for the teenagers and room for toddlers. The kitchen is well placed and allows you to be in there but still be a part of the lounge area. Bagnells dogvfriendly beach is across the road and it would have been nice to be able to bring the dog as the back yard is fenced but it is not dog friendly. I was not satisfied with the cleaning in the bathrooms, they were dusty and behind the door was really unclean. I contacted Shane and he organised a cleaner to come out the next day and the bathrooms were spotless. The photos are accurate and the home allowed is to have a lovely holiday together with plenty of space when someone needed some quiet time. The balcony is wonderful for eating and enjoying the view. I would definitely like to come back here.
