The Family Entertainer - with sweeping water views

The Family Entertainer is a holiday home with mesmerising sweeping views across the beautiful harbour. Sleeping up to13 guests (maximum 10 adults), this substantial home has six bedrooms and three bathrooms. An exciting feature of this fabulous property is the entertaining zone - complete with media room, pool table and table tennis table. Two large decks flow from the upstairs and downstairs living areas and take full advantage of the treetop and amazing water views.

The Family Entertainer is the perfect size for two families or a multi-generational family to enjoy during their beach holiday. The upper level has three bedrooms. The master has water views, an ensuite and king sized bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a tri-bunk. This level also has a family bathroom. The three ground floor bedrooms are all blessed with delightful water views. The fourth and fifth bedroom each have king sized beds and the sixth bedroom has a king-zip bed (meaning it can be separated into two long single beds or zipped together to be a king sized bed). The ground floor also has a family bathroom.

The Family Entertainer is set down a private lane-way and has been designed to make the most of its elevated position directly opposite the waters edge. With no houses between you and the water the panoramic water view is very serene and private. The upper level features the kitchen, dining and living area with TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an island bench with four kitchen stools, making it easy to congregate in the kitchen with a wine while cooking up feasts. Flows out onto a deck where the 180 degree views can best be appreciated. For alfresco dining there’s a 10 person outdoor dining table and chairs on the deck that’s sure to be another much used spot. The ground floor is Activity HQ! A table tennis and pool table is just the thing to get everyone interacting while having a game together. Another deck and a media room with 75 TV, which is a handy place to watch a movie, sport or for the kids to chillax in, is also on the ground floor.

There’s a double lock up garage with a TESLA Gen 3 wall connector and off street parking for an additional two cars. The laundry houses a washing machine and dryer. Year round comfort is assured with ceiling fans throughout and ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning on the top floor. Wi-Fi is provided.

This property has external security camera's in place, this is only for security purposes.

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality white linen. Doonas, blankets and pillows.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 10 Adults. Upon application you can accommodate 3 children, total maximum guests 13.

BOND - a refundable bond of $2000 that is due 14 days prior to your arrival and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.

BED CONFIGURATION -Please select which option you require:
OPTION 1 - 3 King, 1 Queen, 2 King singles and one tri-bunk (double with single above)
OPTION 2 - 4 King, 1 Queen, one tri-bunk (double with single above)

Additional costs when booking:
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.
Beach/pool towels are $8 per towel hire/ per booking.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

  We rented this property for a team offsite for our work team of 6 people. There were sufficient bedrooms for each person, plus 3 bathrooms including ensuite. The living spaces were great to provide a great work environment (upstairs lounge), shared cooking experience in the big kitchen and play time (pool table, billiards). The outdoor verandah is amazing - but unfortunately we didn't use as the weather was rather damp and windy. Well appointed and clean.

  We were a group of 9 mature aged mates. We found the property had loads of space, most things were working as they should and the beds were comfortable. The view from the balcony was panoramic looking out through Port Stephens heads. Parking was adequate for 5 vehicles. We enjoyed the games room with snooker table and table tennis although the latter could do with some new bats as the current ones are basically a piece of wood.
  Most day to day needs are close by at the neighbourhood shopping centre.
  Overall a great catch up with long term friends.

  Superb location on the hill in Salamander Bay with unobstructed views of the bay and beyond. Lots of birdlife in the trees, short drive to local shops-or walk. 10min drive to Nelsons Bay. Well set up for a group or family like ours who were celebrating a big birthday :) Well provisioned kitchen and comfortable beds. Big living spaces and plenty of room inside and on the large deck, for our group to relax. The only suggestion for downstairs in the billard room- there's not much air flow and it would benefit with the addition of an air conditioner or fan. We would certainly love to come back another time.

  The Property has fantastic view from the balcony. A bit tricky to find if you are new to the area with a very steep descent from Scott St to Randal . Very well furnished, has got it all, excellent for a large family or more than 1 small family with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including Blue tooth speaker, table tennis, pool table, 2TVs and a charger for electric cars/ Tesla in the garage . Needs pest control as had a lot of spiders and webs indoor and outdoor. The lower level needs more ventilation as you could smell the dampness. Overall we enjoyed our stay there. Would recommend it to others.

  The bedrooms were spacious..the only complaint we had was if you were sleeping in the bedrooms on the ground floor, the floor creaked above if someone was up early and walking around in the kitchen. It was quite loud and woke us up.. So make sure the early risers sleep downstairs...lol..

  We had a wonderful weekend at the property, with 8 friends. We loved the large table outside looking at the view and inside too. There was a small loungeroom upstairs and a massive games room downstairs we didnt even need with ping pong, pool table and massive lounge. It was clean and modern and had everything we needed. It would be great for a family or a girls weekend. We discovered a cellar door nearby Tynan wines which was fantastic, as was Bannisters Terrace Bar and the local Thai.
