Dutchies Sand and Sea is one of only a handful of executive holiday homes just a short walk from the much-loved Dutchies Beach. With panoramic water views and sleeping up to 8 guests, this coastal chic holiday home is perfect for your next fabulous beachside holiday.

The house is now equipped with ducted air-conditioning to the bedrooms and a separate air-conditioning unit servicing all living areas, ensuring maximum comfort year-round.

Dutchies Sand and Sea Beach House is perfectly positioned just metres away from a public pathway that leads directly to the famous Dutchies Beach. Within minutes, you’ll find yourself on the golden sands or enjoying the calm waters. This family-friendly beach features shaded grassy areas, public BBQs, bathroom amenities, children’s play equipment, and even a bike and pedestrian path that leads straight into Nelson Bay.

Dutchies Sand and Sea Beach House fully embraces its elevated position, with large north-facing windows and doors offering sparkling water views from the master bedroom and the air-conditioned open plan, split-level living areas. Step out onto the generously sized deck, furnished with outdoor seating and a BBQ, ideal for relaxed meals while taking in the stunning views.

The master bedroom includes an ensuite and a private deck overlooking the harbour. All three bedrooms feature queen-sized beds, tasteful décor, ceiling fans, and ducted air-conditioning for your comfort. The living area also offers a sofa bed, accommodating two additional guests if needed.

With two full bathrooms (one featuring a tub) and a laundry with a third toilet, washer, and dryer, this home is well-equipped for longer stays. The stylish kitchen includes modern appliances like a coffee pod machine, sandwich press, blender, and mixer.

Dutchies Sand and Sea Beach House is complete with timber floors, a double garage, an outdoor shower, Foxtel, free Wi-Fi, a DVD library, a large esky, and beach chairs, making it the perfect base for your next coastal getaway.

BOND - a refundable bond of $1000 that is payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality linen. Doonas with decorative covers, blankets and pillows are also supplied.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 6 adults maximum. There is a sofa bed that will be added to accommodate two children guests 7 & 8 ($100), total maximum guest 8.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION is 3 x Queen and a sofa bed can be added for an extra $100 (children only).

Additional costs when booking:
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.
Sofa Bed $100 per booking with towel, and linen hire.
Beach/pool towels are $8 per towel hire/ per booking.

CANCELLATIONS - Booking Fee is not refundable ($150). Please refer to terms and conditions for full cancellation policy. Airbnb Guests please refer to Airbnb's policies.

PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

  Property was clean and comfortable. Amazing views of Port Stephens. We particularly enjoyed sitting on front deck to relax and eat enjoying view. Comfortable beds. Short walk to Dutchies beach, however note steep stairs to and from beach. Would not recommend house for people with toddlers or elderly as the house has external and internal stairs.Good value compared to other properties.

  The property was well presented and fit for purpose.
  Neat and tidy with simple and usefully furnished with a good level of short term rental needs.
  The only potential improbpvement would be to have air conditioning in the upper level which gets hot during the afternoon. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms are excellent. We might upgrade our own at home to this particular fan.
  The initial access code to get the keys was incorrect. Thankfully we arrives during business hours and with contacting the Agent the correct code solved the problem.

  We had a lovely stay in the Sand & Sea beach house. It is a perfect spot to go as a family, the house is spacious and has all the amenities you may need. The location is fantastic and just a walk to the beach. We got lucky enough to even see dolphins from the balcony view.

  My only critiques for improvement is the deposit process was a bit up and down and it took quite some time to get our money back. Additionally, the kitchen could do with some new knives :) Overall, nothing major.

  Dutchies Sand & Sea Beachhouse was the perfect spot for our Mothers Day stay. The weather was perfect for sitting on the balcony looking out at the water view watching the sun go down. Plenty of space & beautifully furnished the house was actually warm at night & so quiet. Easy to find & access although the steps leading up to the house were a bit awkward with all our bags. Our 84yr mum had no issues with internal stairs but was not able to manage the stairs leading down to the beach.
  We dined at Nelson Bay Golf Club - great food & great service - and enjoyed a lovely long lunch at Little Beach Boathouse restaurant - worth every penny & highly recommend for the food & the staff.
  Dutchies Sand & Sea Beachhouse would easily house 3 couples but wouldn’t suit anyone with a disability.
  Overall it’s was a fabulous place to stay.

  The weather was ordinary but the home was still comfortable and homely.
  The management company were very professional and very helpful when we had an issue with the washing machine and gave timely and effective information

  Dutchies Sand & Sea Beach House is perfect for a stay in Nelson Bay. The location was great. It’s literally a 3-minute walk to Dutchmans (Dutchies) Beach and also a quick walk to the center of town and Marina. The property looks exactly like it does on the photos. Having access to a garage is rare in Holiday Rentals and was nice to have. Would absolutely recommend to stay there!
