Penthouse Palace is situated in the vibrant heart of Nelson Bay, Penthouse Palace is perfectly located on the doorstep of Nelson Bays town centre, marina, boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants. Leave the car behind, as only a few minutes stroll away are the booking centres and departure marinas for dolphin swims, dolphin & whale cruises, outer island & harbour cruises, as well as swimming beaches, diving, snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, boat & jet ski hire, parasailing, fishing charters, bike hire, waterfront parks and BBQ's, and waterfront play equipment.

Views, glorious views! Penthouse Palace has lovely views of the blue waters of spectacular Port Stephens. Relax and unwind while you take in the splendid vista of the harbour, headlands, and town, from almost every room.

Private rooftop heated pool and spa! - Have exclusive, private use of your very own pool and heated spa on your opulent rooftop terrace. Take a relaxing dip, or supervise the kids swimming from the convenience of your own personal pool and spa.

Your private rooftop terrace, with private pool and heated spa, also is home to a huge stainless steel outdoor kitchen/bbq. The terrace is impeccably furnished to ensure your comfort and relaxation. Kick back with a drink and soak up the sun's rays on the single or double wicker sun lounges.

The inside of Penthouse Palace is equally well appointed with all the luxuries you'd expect. Your comfort is assured all year round courtesy of ducted air-con. The large kitchen is fully equipped and exudes quality, with Caesar stone bench tops and top appliances. The lounge area boasts a combination of a 7 seat corner lounge, 2 individual feature chairs and a sofa, which accommodates 11 guests in individual comfort. The lounge has a 70 inch LED TV and there's also a TV in the master, second and third bedrooms, so there's a private place for each couple or guest to retreat to.

The master King bedroom complete with WIR has an ensuite with bath, as does the main bathroom, perfect to soak in after a hard day of sightseeing. *Please note baths are soaking tubs and not spas* The 2nd Queen bedroom also enjoys an ensuite and bedrooms 3 & 4 have King beds. Even parking is plentiful and convenient - with 2 car spaces in the secure ground floor car park, complete with lift access.

PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.

BOND Penthouse Palace has a refundable bond of $1500 that is payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality white linen. Beach/pool towels are an additional $6 per towel to hire. Doonas with decorative covers, blankets and pillows are also supplied.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 8 adults. There is a sofa bed that will be added to accommodate guests 9 & 10 (children only) for an additional $100, total maximum 10 guests.

Additional costs when booking:
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.

CANCELLATIONS - Booking Fee is not refundable ($100 to $140). Please refer to terms and conditions for full cancellation policy.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

  It is a beautiful apartment with amazing views and is within walking distance of everything.
  
  The only thing is that the glass table is unsafe with its lifting and needs instructions for using the stove.
  Everything else was clean could not fault the bathrooms and bedrooms. The only thing I would suggest is replacing the toilet in the main ensuite as there are cracks in it and could eventually break when you sit on it.
  
  The view upstairs is amazing only thing is that half the jets in the spa worked, and the lights upstairs didn't come on so it was unsafe, and couldn't see what you were doing. but was very clean.

  Our fourth time here in as many years, the location is unbeatable and the layout and broad facilities of the penthouse are great. We have noticed over the years that the provisions inside need an update. E.g. for a place that can sleep up to 8 or more, there should be enough mugs, cups, wine glasses etc. we needed to request a new toaster while we were there (which was promptly delivered thank you) but generally things are getting a bit tired.

  Spa baths don't function. Hot tub only had two jets working. Have video and photo evidence as they repeatedly deny this. Place is neglected, musty,dusty, filthy lounge, mould on the window sill in one of the rooms. Agency don't do anything to bring the place back to what it should be for the money you pay. We left after it was quite obvious they weren't going fix the hot tub all week even though they reckon its inspected weekly. Bollocks. We left on the 2nd day and got a refund from Air BnB as they agreed the hosts were in violation of the agreement. Stay at Port Stephens will bend over backwards (not for you) to keep the the facade going instead of just forcing the owner to fix the property and all of its amenities. More excuses than a politician. Please look elsewhere, avoid this agency and save your money. Don't say I didn't warn you

  Perfect spot for getting around town. The spa and roof terrace are amazing and the spa is heated. Great for those lazy afternoons. Kitchen and living area is very spacious and great for 8 people. Two main bedrooms were tops. Beds very comfortable. A/C want able to be used as dripping water into the main bedroom but we didn’t need it at this time of year. The two smaller rooms are very small but ok for younger children. Property managers were really responsive to a few issues we had. Overall a great unit.

  I was very satisfied with the property manager, Aaron, I met him on arrival and he showed us everything in detail.
  The property was cleaned but needs a good clean once it’s not booked back to back. The oven was very dirty.
  The toilet seat in the main bathroom needs fixing as it moves and there was a large tile from the bath laying on the floor from maybe some maintenance from the bath spa. These are things that you may not be aware of.
  Other than that we were very satisfied with everything so much so that we have booked again.

  We had a lovely weekend away. The unit is in a great position and has a fabulous view with plenty of space for 10 people.
  For the price though there were parts of it that need to be fixed and tidied up. The tiles around the spa were broken; there was mould on the windows and sills in the bedroom; showers and toilet seat were broken in the both ensuites. The dishwasher was broken and not enough tea towels provided to wash up. We booked to 10 people but thre was only enough linen for 8 people. There were ashtrays on the balcony that were full and cigarette butts scattered around.

  I booked this property for 4 nights for 4 couples last month. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for 4 couples. The fourth bedroom had a bed which was jammed into an alcove area which meant you could only get out of the bed from one side. It also meant that you had to climb over your partner to get out of bed - very claustrophobic and the room was so small. The photo on the website is definitely not a good representation of the bedroom itself. I have discussed this issue with the Property Manager and he undertook to change the photo on the website so people are aware of the makeup of this tiny room. It would be ok for a couple of small children. The bed in the 3rd bedroom was far from comfortable as well. It appeared to be a fold out bed. There were a few other minor issues that the Property Manager was going to address. Besides that it is in a great position and the living area is very spacious. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with en-suites. It could have done with a deep clean but the property manager told me it had been spring cleaned after we had left. Overall I would recommend this property for 2 or 3 couples or 2 couples with children. I couldn't fault my dealings with the Property Manager and staff. When we discovered the 2 gas bottles were empty they were there within the hour with a refill.

  Property is in a perfect location and has a great set up. Unfortunately it was not clean and is in need of a good bit of maintenance.
  There are no instruction on operating the spa so it is little bit of pot luck on setting it up, the same goes with the oven.

  Apartment was stunning but poorly maintained.
  Spa lights were out, and the lighting on the roof top was poor and most lights were out around the pool. This was inconvenient at night as you wont able to see much when swimming in the evening, and made it quiet dangerous for kids as the stairs are quiet steep. Some of the stairs had loose panels and screws missing. The door were the chemicals were stored was smashed to bits and exposed. The was sand in the bottom of the pool and the chemicals used in the water were quiet strong. The outdoor seating was also poor as cushions were only provided for a few, and one chair was torn at the top. The fridge shelfs were smashed and one was completely missing on the door. Couches need a steam clean and cushions need a wash. Verandas require a proper clean with a gurney. Kitchen requires a full clean in draws in cupboards as there were bits of food in draws and the vent was oily. The beds were very comfortable and linen was squeaky clean. Apartment is highly recommended for the view and location, but apartment needs some fixing and maintenance. Until this is complete, it is overpriced.
